Favourite Food (and why)
Antelope Steak

A slice of lean antelope meat charred on all sides.

Ingredients: Antelope Shank, Table Salt, Garlean Garlic
Reasoning: This very simple meal holds some nostalgia for him as his mother was not the best cook and often preferred simpler meals. Antelope steak was one of those that she used as a 'treat'. He could do with less of the garlic though.

Apkallu Omelette

Apkallu eggs beaten and then cooked in rich butter until fluffy and light. A favorite in Vylbrand's coastal hamlets.

Ingredients: Black Truffle, Apkallu Egg, Sweet Cream, Smooth Butter, Table Salt, Mineral Water
Reasoning: When done well, he really enjoys these. They make a delicious breakfast.

Beef Stew

A sumptuous stew made by slowly cooking buffalo meat in sour red wine for several hours until it falls off the bone.

Ingredients: Black Pepper, Buffalo Sirloin, Mineral Water, Sour Red, Sunset Wheat Flour, Wild Onion
Reasoning: Despite being cooked in sour red wine, the stew holds little of the sourness he hates, and the tender meat more than makes up for the tiny bit of it left. He prefers it with fewer onions, but he just likes it in general.

Bubble Chocolate

A luscious bon-bon made from dark chocolate infused with lighter-than-air bubbles.

Ingredients: Buffalo Milk, Kukuru Powder, Kukuru Butter, Maple Sugar
Reasoning: Usually Rinha doesn't like bitter tastes too much, but he finds bubble chocolate a rare exception. He can't eat a lot of it, but it's good for a treat.

Honey Bun

Most often found in markets located across the eastern and southern regions of Eorzea, this lightly glazed buttery brioche pastry will keep for several days (making it a fine companion for long journeys), but is best when freshly baked. Guaranteed to make life sweeter.

Reasoning: His sweet tooth betrays him here. He loves the taste of it, especially when it has an excess of honey.

Least Favourite Food (and why)
Cheese Risotto

Sticky rice doused in a rich cheese sauce and simmered over low heat until it reaches just the right consistency.

Ingredients: Alpine Parsnip, Cottage Cheese, Sticky Rice, Wild Onion
Reasoning: Rinha doesn't dislike cheese, but he dislikes cheese sauce, is not a major fan of rice and dislikes parsnips.

Lemon Waffle

Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, this baked delight with a distinctive texture has a slight hint of citrus.

Ingredients: Cottonseed Oil, Fermented Butter, Garden Beet Sugar, Lemonette, Lorikeet Egg, Strong Flour
Reasoning: Between the citrus taste and the use of sour lemonettes, he's just a little averse to these.

Fish Soup

A light soup of butter-sautéed whitefish and vegetables.

Ingredients: Bianaq Bream, Highland Parsley, Nutmeg, Ruby Tomato, Smooth Butter, Wild Onion,
Reasoning: He feels like this is a good way to spoil a good fish. He prefers them roasted.

Cockatrice Meatballs

Ground lean cockatrice meat hand rolled into bite-sized balls and fried in oil.

Ingredients: Abalathian Rock Salt, Flatbread, Cockatrice Thigh, Cyclops Onion, Tomato Sauce
Reasoning: Rinha secretly finds cockatrices creepy. He doesn't want to eat them,

Chanterelle Saute

Wild chanterelles sautéed in butter.

Ingredients: Chanterelle, Smooth Butter
Reasoning: He doesn't like mushrooms.

Favourite Drinks (and why)
Amra Lassi

A blend of yoghurt and spices, this refreshing drink is infused with the mellow sweetness of the amra fruit.

Ingredients: Amra, Ovibos Milk, Palm Sugar, Peppermint
Reasoning: Rinha has a thing for sweetness, he likes yoghurt and he also likes peppermint. When he tasted this for the first time, a lifelong liking was born.

Chamomile Tea

A delicately fragranced infusion brewed from tiny yellow chamomile flowers.

Ingredients: Chamomile, Honey, Mineral Water
Reasoning: Nobody expected him to like chamomile tea, but when he was given it to calm down after a particularly bad experience, he found it helped. He's used it when he needs to calm down since then.

Mint Lassi

A cool and refreshing drink made from cultured milk. Popular in the Near Eastern city-state of Radz-at-Han for its ability to offset the blistering heat of the Thavnairian midday sun.

Ingredients:Aldgoat Milk, Galago Mint
Reasoning: Again, he likes milk and mint. He finds it helps him work to have some of this to hand to sip on.

Least Favourite Drinks (and why)
Crimson Cider

Official beverage of both the Ala Mhigan Resistance and the Doman Liberation Front, or so cider brewers would have you believe.

Ingredients:Crimson Pepper, Cumin Seeds, Jhammel Ginger, Kudzu Root, Loquat
Reasoning: He doesn't like the taste. He finds it bitter and dislikes most of the ingredients.

Grape Juice

Juice freshly squeezed from plump noble grapes.

Ingredients: Noble Grapes
Reasoning: When made right, this can be fine, but when just squeezed from the grapes as is common, he dislikes the flavour.

Lemonade

"An incomparably refreshing blend of sour lemonette juice and sweet golden honey."

Ingredients: Lemonette, Golden Honey, Underground Spring Water
Reasoning: Rinha doesn't like very sour tastes, and even sweetened with honey, he can taste the sourness unless it's done very well. He doesn't think it's worth the effort of trying when it's so hard to get any that doesn't taste terrible to him.
